In today's day and age there are many scientists and organisations seeking a cure to diseases such as Cancer, HIV, Muscular Dystrophy, Athritis and Sids. Here at Pacific Cruising we are making an effort to raise awareness and funds for some of those people so we can make a difference in someone's life.
Our new racing yacht is on its way from America. Using our yacht we will race in all the major Australian Regattas to raise awareness for our cause. We will also offer some special clients the chance of a lifetime to come on board the yacht at the start of major races, train older patients to become full time crew members and work with celebrities and TV stations to create maximum exposure.
WE NEED YOUR HELP.
You can support the cause in many different ways. We are seeking corporate sponsors who will get exposure on the vessel during races, individual sponsors who can donate goods or cash to our cause and we need volunteers to get the yacht to venues and to assist with our work load.
MINIMUM 80% OF FUNDS RAISED GO DIRECT TO BENEFICIARIES
No less than 80% will go to those we support. We keep our costs to a minimum as our staff work on other projects such as our Marine Consultancy Business. All work is done in spare time so our costs are kept to a minimum. We do however cover the cost of running this cause and hence we cannot donate 100% of the proceeds, however we aim to get as close to that as possible.
